The Villa Medici is situated in the Mugello region of Florence, outside of the characteristic village Vicchio, an area where important artists like Giotto or the Beato Angelico were born. The luxury villa dates back to the 15th century and was one of the Medici country villas. Subsequently this luxury villa passed through the hands of many nobile families, each one attaching their family crest to the front wall of the villa and they can still be seen today. In the 18th century the Baldocci family built a chapel on the estate dedicated to Saint Girolamo.

This majestic luxury villa measures over 1000 sq.m.over 3 floors. The villa has an antique well, and pigeon house that date from the times of the Medici.

During the restoration care has been taken to maintain the original stone, terracotta, doors etc, and also the style of the building, creating a magnificent and luxurious holiday rental villa. The villa offers space for 18 – 24 people (9 luxurious suites each with bathroom and some with additional beds) to pass a holiday of relaxation in complete privacy. The suites are all very spacious, also equipped with antique furniture, combined with modern comfort (satellite TV, radio and CD-player) and have their own bathroom some with jacuzzi bathtub, shower and marvellous marble fittings.
