Italian villa rental in Lucca is situated in a charming traditional village just outside of Lucca. The village is a delightful gathering of rustic stone farmhouses and majestic villas set in the lush countryside at the foot of Monte Zano in Northern Tuscany. The main structure of Villa Lucca dates back to the year 500, while later additions and beautiful frescoes reflect the artistic period of the 18th century. The enchanting walled garden was featured in the 2002 edition of Architetture del Verde, a book on elegant Lucchesi villas and formal Italianate gardens. The expansive garden will delight you with its extensive grapevine pergola, ancient grottos and fountains, and swimming pool. For those wanting a little more exercise, the villa offers a gymnasium and our own private tennis court.
The main Italian villa has nine bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms and are named after some of Italy’s most famous Renaissance artists. Caravaggio, the three-room deluxe mastersuite, has a separate private salon with fireplace and a large bathroom with antique tub, double marble basin and glass shower. The deluxe bedrooms, Bronzino, Raphael and Michelangelo, are very spacious with kingsize beds, antique furniture and glorious scenic frescoes. The premium bedrooms, Fra Angelico and Da Vinci, are located off the main drawing room that is decorated with Tuscan silk curtains, marble fireplace, fine antiques and a grand Italian piano.
The upper floor has three bedrooms, Botticelli, Masaccio and Donatello and is designed as a separate maisonette. The bedrooms share a spacious, deluxe living room. The basement houses the original kitchen with wine cellar. Your cheffor the week is a highly trained expert in Tuscan cuisine. There are housekeeping and table waiting staff plus a gardener and maintenance staff. Staff have one day off per week but there will be someone on duty during the chef’s day off for breakfast service and housekeeping.
An additional 12 people can be accommodated in the annex Villa di Carrozza which just next to Villa Lucca.

Hot tub. The rental includes heating, electricity, and water. The villa is airconditioned throughout. The main villa rental also includes heating of pool up to 75F/24C, two staff, and a professional chef (staff have one day off a week). The chef will prepare breakfast & then one meal per day. Additional meals can be provided upon request. There is maid service 6 days a week and towels are changed almost daily & linens once per week.

The hostess will help you choose and coordinate the huge variety of local excursions and sightseeing – Tuscany is deservedly famous for its culture and centuries of art and history. The wonderful walled city of Lucca lies just six kilometres north of Vorno and houses the incredible Piazza dell’anfiteatro, Piazza Napoleone, Torre Guinigi and great shopping. Florence and Pisa are on your doorstep – Florence with its wealth of art and perhaps the most famous of all statues, Michelangelo’s David and Pisa still attracts curious travellers to the Leaning Tower. The fascinating villages of Monticatini, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra are all within easy distance. There is a great village `bar` where the young meet to laugh & sing karaoke italian style in the evenings. This is about a 4 mins walk from the villa.

Our villa rentals also include heating of the pool up to 75F/24C, daily maid service, waiting staff and the services of our chef. Staff have one day off a week. Service cover will be provided 7 days a week but lunch and dinner will not be provided on the chef’s day off.
Not Included: Food and beverage, phone/fax charges, personal laundry, cars and transportation. These services may be provided at an additional charge.
€1000 A food deposit is required upon arrival to allow the chefs to purchase food items for you for your stay.
