Villa Nottolini is an elegant 19th century villa which sits on a quite unique estate with beautiful views and unique amenities. Sitting amidst the Tuscan olive groves, the villa offers spectacular views of the famous medieval-walled city of Lucca and of Nottolini’s acquaduct. The estate itself houses castle ruins, a ranch-style equestrian center and an old matrimonial chapel. Well-manicured Italian gardens surround the area and encircle the private villa pool.
Villa Nottolini is a beautiful recently restructured luxury accommodation offering 11 frescoed guestrooms all with en-suite facilities for up to 22 guests. There are several sitting areas throughout the villa including a large, formal living area and a sitting area with cane seating. The office is complete with internet access, telephone and fax. Many of the rooms have frescoed ceilings. The charming Tuscany-country styled kitchen is also used by the on-site chef to prepare the various daily meals. A buffet styled breakfast and either lunch or dinner are provided 6 days each week. Various wines from the villa’s own wine cellar accompany these exquisite meals. Villa Nottolini’s wine cellar is one of the most envied of the area offering a fantastic collection of rare vintages. Guests may dine in the formal dining area or ‘al frescoed’ in the charming enclosed terrace.
In keeping with Villa Nottolini`s gentle atmosphere all rooms are elegantly furnished, from the angel frescoed ceiling of the lounge and the grand music room to the arched loggia with views across the camilia garden.
